Toronto based, Saira de Goede is a 26 year old self-taught artist born and raised on the West coast of Canada. Her art is inspired visually by the universe and all its magical energies, shapes and textures. Her aspiration is to capture the diverse emotions and feelings that go on within each and every human being. Her passion for painting blossomed by her experiences as an international model. She was inspired by the eccentricity of the world of fashion and the beauty of the human form. However, the oxymoron of the fashion world caused her spirit to battle in both positive and negative ways. Most of her paintings are expressions of experiences she’s felt personally hoping to touch and relate to viewers who see them.

SESSIONS Magazine Special Edition – The Best of 2011 is out. This special consists of a year in review of some great photography we’ve recieved from across the globe, showcasing some amazingly talented photographers, stylists, make up artists, hair stylists, and beautiful models.

One of the features we are very proud in the magazine is our self portraits section. Here, we ask models to grab their cameras, (Or cell phones) and take some creative shots of themselves. We’ve been pleasantly surprised buy the response on this. If you have some cool shots of you, send them in, we’re always looking for more!

We’ve also included the artist section which has complimented the flow of the magazine quite nicely.

One of the special features in this issue will be never before seen pictures of Maryse Ouellet taken during the shooting of the video below.

For those that order theirs today, we’ll be including a downloadable pdf file of 10 extra images from other sets never before shared and not included in the magazine.
