Toronto based, Saira de Goede is a 26 year old self-taught artist born and raised on the West coast of Canada. Her art is inspired visually by the universe and all its magical energies, shapes and textures. Her aspiration is to capture the diverse emotions and feelings that go on within each and every human being. Her passion for painting blossomed by her experiences as an international model. She was inspired by the eccentricity of the world of fashion and the beauty of the human form. However, the oxymoron of the fashion world caused her spirit to battle in both positive and negative ways. Most of her paintings are expressions of experiences she’s felt personally hoping to touch and relate to viewers who see them.
